Come learn a fun way to make your own art journal using collage, drawing, painting and the written word. This is a fun exploratory process of deconstructing and recreating a book to be your own visual journal. While we will get a good start on the books during the class, you’ll have your own journal to take home and continue to create on your own time. Registrants will be asked to bring a book - preferably hard cover - that they are willing to deconstruct. Non-fiction works best; biographies, history, sociology - books that mention people, culture, the language of emotion and human interaction. Books written in languages other than English also work.
