Finding Joy Within An Expressive Arts Workshop Series for women
6 sessions, Mondays 12-2 pm
Sept 19-Nov 28, every other week
While we are all tired of masking for protection against Covid-19, we were all wearing masks of some kind before 2020. These masks were generally not seen by others, and sometimes not even seen by ourselves. They too provided protection - or so we hoped - from psychological and
sometimes physical, hurts. These are the masks we wear to fit in; to please others; to look good; to do the right thing; to play a predetermined role. These masks may have served us well and still we may be ready to let them go.
This workshop is designed to help explore the masks we wear
through the use of the expressive arts in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Designed specifically for women 50+ who are tired of wearing masks prescribed by family and society and are ready to tap into their own inner freedom, creativity and joy!
Broken Bowl Workshop: Reconnecting and Healing Grief
9:30 am - 4:30 pm
In person in Camden Maine
What does a broken bowl have to do with grief? What does impermanence mean to you? There have been many losses these past two years - loss of health, loss of safety, loss of community. When we experience loss, we may feel as if our lives have been shattered. Broken. We may fear we will never feel whole again. Repairing and reassembling a broken bowl is a metaphor for rebuilding our lives.
